KMAfrica.com - Chapter Projects

The following projects are currently being engaged on KMAfrica.com
- Development of www.KMAfrica.com on-going development of the KMAfrica.com KnowledgeHub portal including design and creation of knowledge sharing technologies and tools
- Publicity for the KMAfrica biennial Conferences including marketing and promotion of KMAfrica's biennial conferences
- Archival of previous KMAfrica conferences includes digitising previous KMAfrica conference proceedings and presention via the KMAfrica.com wiki
- Provide a space for conversations that matter supporting the vision KMAfrica.com, we provide an electronic platform to stimulate conversation and resource sharing around KM topics using the KnowledgeHub Special Interest Groups (SIGs) based on http://isivivane.com/kmafrica/og
- Stimulating the use of appropriate knowledge for youth empowerment designed and providing communications campaigns directed at African Governments, Schools and Universities - this is a project of the KM4Comms SIG based on http://isivivane.com/kmafrica/og.communications
- KMAfrica.com eUniversity will be offering a certificate in KM at Masters level via our eUniversity. The audience for the course are public servants in all spheres of government, NGOs and private organisations throughout Africa. The KMAfrica eUniversity is web-based and provides everything you would find in a real university. The intention is to offer cutting edge theory, online discussions and exercises that stimulate learners to implement ideas and best practice directly in their environments. We are looking for: tutors/mentors, assessors, content providers and lecturers who are as passionate about learning as we are and who are willing to lend some of their knowledge to this project - if you'd like to be involved, please email info@kmafrica.com. The eUniversity is scheduled for formal launch in mid 2010.
- KMAfrica.com Resource Library provides a shared library space of cutting edge knowledge from authoritative knowledge providers and managed by KMAfrica.com participating editors - available on http://isivivane.com/kmafrica/resources
- Community survey tools these tools are designed to provide useful feedback about the practice of knowledge management in Africa and beyond. An example of a survey is available on http://isivivane.com/kmafrica/KMAfrica.African.KMSurvey
